Is this the same as the older 9570R?
No. 9R 590 is the newer naming (JD14 13.6 L, 590 rated / 649 max). 9570R is the prior 9R-series 570-hp model with PowerTech 13.5 L. Do not mix sheets.
Can I use 9R 640 numbers for a 9R 590?
No. Rated/max power and shipping weight differ (590: 590/649 hp, 45,980 lb; 640: 640/691 hp, 46,680 lb). Do not mix 590 and 640.
Do 2023 and 2024 9R 590 share published OEM numbers?
Yes. Current deere.com US 9R 590 page and the deere.com 9 Series AU-NZ brochure publish the same 590/649 hp and shared hydraulics/capacities; no year-split sheet found.
